POSITION SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATION:
The Landscaping Supervisor is responsible for proper development, beautification and growth of landscape area by formulating plans and work schedule related to landscape and irrigation construction and maintenance. He/she is in-charge of identification and production of ornamental plants and explain proper procedure in planting and maintaining proper growth of plants.
- Graduate of BS Agriculture major in Horticulture; Forestry/Aquaculture or equivalent
- Knowledgeable in Landscape Design; Auto cad
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare specific guidelines and procedure for the proper implementation of landscape maintenance and construction. (Softscape & Hardscape)
- Explain the established form of landscape maintenance and construction to all personnel involved in the project undertaking.
- Monitor the proper implementation of landscape maintenance and related construction activities, such as planting, pest control, watering, cultivation and etc.
- Check manpower requirements, materials needed for the operation of the project and to ensure availability of resources when needed.
- Prepare landscape-planting layout to ensure proper implementation of designed plan.
- Evaluate the condition of the landscape area, recommend and implements necessary action for improvement and development.
- Conduct soil-sampling evaluation, recommend action for improvement.
- Prepare and monitor irrigation scheduling (watering plants)
- Prepare annual budget for the operation of the department/section.
- Prepare and check contractor’s billing.
- Review and evaluate contractor’s accomplishments.
- Coordinate with field engineers regarding the implementation of landscape maintenance and construction.
- Assist Contract Administration in evaluating and value engineering of landscaping projects.
- Processing of contractors, suppliers and service providers billing.
SKILLS:
- Good written and oral communication, able to read and interpret plans and drawing
- Familiar with the horticultural practices and identification of plants (Botanical Name)
Willing to do field work, organize, highly motivated with leadership skills.
